The infant-toddler program is specifically geared for 14mos-2.5 year olds, and is a great entry to the school experience and gentle separation.

We offer co-working** in the space, adjacent to but separate from the classroom.

**This program includes having a grown up available to utilize a co-working space that is adjacent to the classroom once your child completes the separation process.

DEVELOPING FOUNDATIONS

Join us for an intro-to-school program where everyone joins school with a gentle separation and adults remain close while working onsite in our co-working space.

Children will develop order, coordination, concentration, and independence through the work cycle practice.

Emergent lessons and experiences that support different Montessori curricular areas: Peace Curriculum (anti-bias, social-emotional), Cultural (nature, music, art), Practical Life, Sensorial/pre-math, and Early Literacy.

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 12:00pm

extended day with nap to 3:00

9:00-9:30 Arrival + Open Play: Montessori Lessons, Sensory Play, Art

9:30-10:00 Snack preparation Practical Life lessons + Snack (provided by school)

10:00-10:40 Outdoor play

10:40-11:00 Morning Meeting + Songs

11:00-11:30 Project Period following current emergent curriculum

11:30-11:50 Lunch (brought from home) + Story Read Aloud

11:50-12:00 Closing circle / transition to nap for extended day

12:00-2:00 Nap + Afternoon snack

2:00-3:00 Outdoor play + Dismissal

Additional Program Details

1 adult per child remains onsite using the co-working facilities:

  • separate room with comfortable workspaces with WiFi;

  • private meeting area upstairs;

  • access to upstairs space with bathroom through separate stairwell

Seasonal, organic snacks provided for all students. Mindful of allergies and NO NUTS.

Private yard for gross-motor and outdoor play

Classroom with appropriately sized furniture and a children’s bathroom with a child-sized toilet. Teacher support for toilet training when ready.

Montessori curriculum following Collective Kind’s educational philosophy and community values

Space available to rent for birthday parties and community events evenings + weekends
